Red sky at night; the setting harvest moon; heat lightning; the arrival of fall; playing with my dogs’ ears; my mother’s failing attempts to dress our pets in increasingly ridiculous costumes; cloud watching; discovering new music; flipping through House of Leaves and gawking at the typography (need to read!); seeing my name in the table of contents of a magazine, a first for me; cemetery surfing.
